More filming...

After editing the shots in the snow they looked really good but my opening needed something softer to go with the rest of my film so I decided to film some shots of Hope being read a bedtime story. I want this image to touch the hearts of my audience and make them want to carry on watching....

Filming and snow...

I decided to start filming using my own camera and was very lucky in that two days after I started filming we had a heavy snowfall and I decided to use this in my film. The shots show Hope having a snowball fight with her family and friends.

Filming Technicalities...

After putting my idea forward to mum's goddaughters family I had the go ahead and starting planning my storyboard and the things that could happen in the rest of the films. I have recorded my ideas in a mind map:

The film would show Hope as she grew up and would not be an accurate showing of time, some parts would go quickly in time and others would not. I have included in the mind map things I would include in the storyline for the restof the film. The film would finish up with Hope winning the court case.

Actors and Locations...

After coming up with a nearly finalised idea I came up with some ideas for actors and costumes ect...My mum's goddaughter has just turned four and is the perfect little girl to act as "Hannah". I have decided to rename Hannah "Hope" as her story involves a lot of hope for her and her family and friends. I also wanted to include Hopes family and mainly her mother in my opening two minutes and have decided it would be easiest to use her real mum and family and their close relationship would come across in the film. Costumes are simple are they are every day wear and do not need to be selected. The only thing I need to remember is continuity if I am filming over a period of days.
